Children under 6 years and extended family

We pay out a cash amount according to the plan selected for children under 6 years  and extended family. However we will gladly provide a funeral service if the client so requests. A quotation and benefits will be provided at the time of death.

Main member, Spouse and children over 6 years.

We provide the following standard benefits for all three plans, Hearse, Tent at home and 100 chairs, Gazebo and decorations at grave site and 100 programmes.

Repatriation

We will repatriate the mortal remains from place of death to their home free of charge within the borders of South Africa.

Waiting Period

Main member, spouse and own children under 21 – six months . If joining from another registered insurer – no waiting period (if waiting period was completed with previous insurer). Suicide – 24 months.

Cancellation

The policy is automatically cancelled after non-payment of two consecutive premiums. If this happens then no benefits will be paid and a new waiting period of 6 months will apply.

Definition of Extended Family

All family members other than spouse and own children under the age of 21 years. An additional premium is payable for each extended family member as per the table below:
